TERRA NOVA TEST:

TerraNova is a series of standardized achievement tests used in the US designed to assess student achievement in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, vocabulary, spelling, and other areas.

SSAT (SECONDARY SCHOOL ADMISSION TEST):

The Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) is used by many private schools in US to measure student ability to solve mathematical problems, to use language, and to comprehend what a student reads.

Designed and administered by the SSAT, it has two levels: the Lower Level, for students currently in grades 5-7; Upper Level, for students currently in grades 8-11. Both levels consist of five sections; Writing Sample, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics, Synonyms and Analogy questions.

ISEE (INDEPENDENT SCHOOL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION):

The Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE), is a test used by many independent and magnet schools in US.

Designed and administered by the Educational Records Bureau, the ISEE has three levels: the Lower level, for entrance in grades 5-6; Middle level, for entrance in grades 7-8; Upper level, for entrance in grades 9-12. All levels consist of five sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, reading comprehension, and Mathematics Achievement, and a 30-minute essay section.
